I contributed to the strategic leadership and operational execution of Medical Affairs activities supporting the launch and lifecycle management of resmetirom for metabolic-dysfunction associated steatohepatitis (MASH). Responsibilities:
- Contribute to Medical Strategy Development - Actively participate in the design, execution, and ongoing evaluation of the medical strategy, gap analysis, and tactical plans across the lifecycle of resmetirom and other investigational compounds.
- Medical Product Team Representation - Serve as the country-level representative on the Medical Product Team, acting as the primary liaison and voice for the Germany medical affairs function within the global working group.
- Local Scientific Engagement - Lead the planning and execution of country-level Advisory Boards and national medical society meetings, ensuring alignment with broader strategic objectives.
- Evidence Generation and Lifecycle Input - Review and assess Investigator-Initiated Studies (IISs) submitted from within the country. Provide strategic input into the Lifecycle Management Plan and Evidence Generation Strategy, representing the unique needs and opportunities of the local medical landscape.

Field Medical Advisor – DACH Region | Resmetirom (MASH)
As one of the first medical hires in Europe, I joined the company ahead of Resmetirom’s positive Phase 3 results, serving as Field Medical Advisor for the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). In a lean EU team of four, reporting to the EU Medical Director, we were the sole company representatives across Europe for over three years. I led field-based medical engagement in a pre-commercial setting, building strong relationships with hepatology KOLs and driving early scientific exchange on MASH pathophysiology, unmet needs, and the Resmetirom clinical program. My work focused on scientific insight gathering, congress representation, early access discussions, and preparing the region for future launch activities in close alignment with global medical strategy.

Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate support for clinical trials and engage with external experts on the generation of scientific data.
- Collaborate with clinical organization to enhance patient enrolment in company sponsored clinical trials by identifying appropriate trial sites and interacting with investigators in on going trials.
- Deeply understand the fatty liver therapeutic area (MASLD/MASH), key stakeholders, and healthcare landscape (i.e. reimbursement/access, diagnostic, testing) in the DACH territory.
- Help execution of country/European medical plans locally by representing the medical expertise in MASLD/MASH and through scientific engagement with the medical community.
